Psychosocial Support Closing Ceremony
Twenty-eight youth scholars joined Ruwwad towards the end of 2017. The new group of youth completed their first milestone in Ruwwad: the psychosocial support training focuses on the growth and exploratory mindset, empathetic listening, problem solving and respecting human value
Recycling Day
The concept of “Service before Self” is the principle adopted by Ruwwad’s youth. On recycling day, 115 youth scholars, divided into groups, received their first orientation on Ruwwad’s programs. Each group of youth was assigned to the program in which they will be volunteering throughout 2018
RAWABET Initiative Launch
A new partnership with Equitas was launched under the title ‘Rawabet: Technological Bridges for Citizen Engagement’. Through this regional initiative, over 1,500 youth, women and persons with disabilities in Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt will learn new technologies that will help them engage with their communities and participate more actively in social, economic and political life
Youth Initiatives in Tafileh
As part of their community service and Youth Organizing Program, Ruwwad Tafileh youth launched 15 initiatives in the areas of tourism in marginalized areas, arts for children and adolescents, voluntary work and best utilization of resources.
